3 top Icelandic sights

Thinking or planning a trip to Iceland? From personal experience here are my 3 activities that I believe should be incorporated into any itinerary.
Golden Circle Tour.
This all day tour takes vistors out into the Icelandic countryside; visiting 3 natural attractions. The Strokkur geysir, Gullfoss waterfall and the Thingvellir National Park. I used Gray Line excursions who provided well informed and helpful guides. Although a little pricey, for the quality of the services received throughout the day, definitely worth the money.

Perlan.                                                                                                                                                                                             Although the Hallgrimskirkja church in Reykjavik offers great views over the city, Perlan a short bus ride out from Hlemmur bus station provides spectacular and in my opinion more impressive views of the surrounding city. With free entry and only 350 kroner bus ride (each way) it’s a great way to pass a few hours.

Jokulsarlon Lagoon.
Although I wanted to visit the lagoon, money and time stopped me. After returning home from my trip, not visiting the melting glaciers is my one regret of my time spent in Iceland.
